Mrs.Divya Sharma explained the working of the water treatment plant along with the flow chart. She explained about how the raw water is collected ,stored ,monitored and treated with the necessary chemicals .the students got the information about water treatment plant which includes the coagulation process(addition of alum) ,open channel for raw water intake ,raw water pump ,post and pre chlorination,Aeration tank ,sedimentation tank, flash mixing chamber, rapid sand filter , sump well,reservoir,chlorine mixing tank etc. Also cleared all the doubts of the students.
Inspite of all technical knowledge about water treatment plant ,she also told the students about the importance of water and how they can save more water from their daily use life.
